Airmen Memorial
On November 30, 1992 two C-141 cargo planes from McChord Air Force Base in Washington collided in air near Harlem along Montana's Hi-Line during a refueling training exercise. 13 airmen were killed. Two memorials were erected, one nine miles north of Harlem near the field where the crash occurred. The second is a memorial located at the corner of the entrance to Harlem.
